The salary for this position is $80,744 - $94,993
Utilize a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or Modeling and Simulation Based Engineering (M&SBSE) approach to engineering tasking.
Make recommendations and implement Government decisions in the development of C5ISR systems. Provide lead engineering services in all phases of development to include: requirements analysis, concept generation, system analysis, design, manufacturing, experimentation, testing, production and logistics support.
Track the status of Engineering Deliverables with a system that identifies completion status.
Report engineering project status with Kickoff Meetings, Preliminary Design Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, Critical Design Reviews and Final Design Reviews.
Develop Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP) as required and IAW INCOSE guidelines.
Perform Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) for End-of-Life components and systems to include plans for the development of repair, restoration, or overhaul capabilities.
Create test plans to support functional testing, environmental testing, reliability testing, and other MIL-STD test requirements.
Conduct cost analysis of production methods and material options.
Conduct test engineering management such as environmental testing, road testing, EMI, shock, and vibration.
Author and present research papers, feasibility studies, and other engineering reports.
Create, review, update, and maintain Engineering Development Models (EDM).
Provide lead engineering services in all phases of development to include: requirements analysis, concept generations, system analysis, design, manufacturing, experimentation, testing, production, and logistics support.
Utilize Agile Project Management and other software development techniques for engineering, spatial computing, machine learning, and digital ecosystems.
Conduct site surveys of ships, airfields, facilities, power, infrastructure, and other C5ISR platforms.
Create Functional Block Diagrams, Use-Case Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Source Control Diagrams, Interface Control Diagrams, and other systems engineering diagrams with Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, or other software.
Create Requirements Traceability Matrixes order.
Develop Technical Data Packages (TDP) up to the Production Level. TDP development shall be executed in a structured environment with status tracking, quality checklists, seamless integration into Product Data Management, automated workflows and in a digital format.
Conduct development, design, integration of electrical, mechanical, materials, and structural concepts.
Required Skills and Experiences:
3-5 years of relevant experience
