The salary for this position is $90,716 -$106,724
Cybersecurity Engineers prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment
and Authorization requirements. They may also perform the following duties:
• Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber [1] resilient network
• Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
• Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports
Create, build, and maintain Wide Area Networks, Local Area Networks, and Virtual Networks.
Design and reverse engineer serial, Ethernet, fiber optic, and other digital transmission systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve computer, network, and web outages.
Manage inventory and excess for Information Technology equipment.
Configure, remediate, and maintain computers, servers, and other Information Technology assets.
Develop roadmap, create artifacts, and produce system IATTs, ATOs, and other accreditation packages.
Conduct cyber security assessments, develop remediation plans, and risk management for COTS/GOTS prototypes and Internet of Things devices.
Provide, support, and remediate cloud infrastructure and systems. Deploy applications to cloud environments.
Operate on classified networks to include SIPR, SWAN, and other systems as required.
Address security protocols for communication networks, protection against cyber threats, and handling of sensitive data collected by the system.
Conduct cyber security research, experimentation, and testing to include writing policies, procedures, and technical papers.

Required Skills and Experiences:
- Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance
- System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- A secret security clearance
