CMDB Modernization Project Manager
Location: Hill AFB, Ogden, UT (100% Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (4 months to start)
Start Date: March 2026
Pay Rate: $65–$95/hour
Overview
SNI Technology / Paladin is seeking an experienced CMDB Modernization Project Manager to support a large-scale federal IT modernization initiative at Hill AFB. This role will lead the delivery of CMDB transformation efforts, driving integration across enterprise platforms while ensuring alignment with government program objectives, configuration management governance, and mission-critical timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead CMDB modernization project delivery, coordinating Device42-to-JSM/Jira/Confluence integration workstreams across cPMO, FinOps, Cyber, Ops, and eITSM portfolios
Drive sprint planning, stakeholder alignment, and risk management using Agile and PMP methodologies
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables tied to MVP and IOC objectives
Identify, track, and mitigate risks; maintain a current risk registry and escalate issues impacting delivery timelines
Coordinate with engineering teams, WIPT leads, and external partners to align technical execution with program priorities
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, document decisions, and ensure accountability for action items
Produce status reports, performance metrics, and documentation to support government oversight
Support change management activities and ensure alignment with enterprise configuration management and ITSM standards
Lead sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring clear priorities, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Active Secret Clearance (required)
10+ years of experience managing enterprise IT projects/programs in a federal or DoD environment
Experience with ITSM, CMDB, or enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile or sprint-based environments
Experience working with government stakeholders and mission-critical delivery timelines
Preferred Certifications
PMP (Project Management Professional)
ITIL Foundation or higher
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist
CompTIA Project+
