Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a motivated and driven Staff Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX to provide support to the Development Programs Team of the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) program.

The position will require flexible hours with periodic travel to support supplier activity across the United States.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Staff Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring supplier-delivered products meet rigorous quality standards and support program milestones.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Review documentation for internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality.

  • Support Integrated Product Teams with quality data reviews, yields, schematics, test data, and configuration audits.

  • Lead program part reviews and Failure Review Board meetings, identifying trends and driving corrective actions.

  • Perform assessments and audits to ensure compliance with ISO-9001 / AS9100 and engineering specifications.

  • Partner with suppliers and production teams to establish new processes, obtain corrective actions, and provide technical liaison support.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to travel a minimum of 25% and ability to work a flexible schedule (after hours or weekends when needed).

STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher, or equivalent experience.

Must be a U.S. citizen have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start.

Must have extensive experience working development programs and all phases of development. Must also have experience with U.S. Government customers and suppliers.

Quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.

In depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.

Experience interpreting drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.

Failure Review Board experience for troubleshooting failures and identifying resolutions including for electrical testing.

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.

Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.

Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.

Lead auditor experience (AS9100, ISO9001, etc).

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Desired Skills:
Six Sigma Blackbelt.

Experience in developing and establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.

Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.

Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification.

Apriso application experience.

Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.

Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

Demonstrated presentation skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
