Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position supporting multiple programs in Grand Prairie, TX.

As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for driving a quality-first mindset throughout multi-functional disciplines and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to travel, including to various production locations in across the United States and abroad. (~30%).
STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher, or equivalent experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start.
Knowledgeable of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System.
Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
Experience as a team leader and making risk-based data driven decisions.
Experience implementing material review boards and dispositioning non-conformances.
Experience interpreting drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products.
Advanced understanding and experience completing root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Knowledge of Configuration Management and control processes.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience with Machine Shop, Mechanical Assembly, Tooling / Gages / Fixtures, and Mechanical Inspection.
Must posses Electrical / Electro-mechanical component experience to include experience with qualification testing and qualification testing requirements.
Desired Skills:
Experience with CCB's and soldering.
Experience with NEW manufacturing facility stand-up and ISO/AS certification requirements/pathways to facility certification.
Special Process Engineering experience.
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
SAP Application experience.
Control Account Manager experience.
Bids and Proposals experience.
Demonstrated presentation skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
