You will be the Applications Engineer Sr. - Level 3 for the LM Aeronautics Operations Systems and Modeling team which is responsible for advancing Intelligent Factory initiatives across sites and lines of business.

As the Applications Engineer Sr. - Level 3 you will be responsible for linking operational technology (OT) with information technology (IT) to create transformational capabilities that support Lockheed Martin's 1LMX strategy.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:
- Strong technical understanding of operational technologies, manufacturing, and business processes
- Data analytics, data visualization and/or IIOT experience
- Track record of successful project management and change management
Desired Skills:
- Manufacturing engineering and/or Project engineering background
- Knowledge of machine maintenance
- Experience in process mapping and business case development
- Experience with working on cross functional teams
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Translate current-state business processes into future-state use cases that enable OT/IT integration.
- Lead project and organizational change management efforts, coordinating across IT, Facilities, Production Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
- Maintain and prioritize capability backlogs, quantifying business value for each use case.
- Produce regular briefings for senior leadership, customer representatives, and industry peers on progress, challenges, and emerging trends.
- Stay current on industry best-practices and emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
