Description:You will be the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) lead engineer for the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Systems Engineering team which is responsible for leading and performing all aspects of the systems engineering on AMMM programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the AMMM MBSE Lead, you will leverage your MBSE experience to help shape and lead the implementation of MBSE on current and emerging AMMM programs. You will assist SE team members in developing model-based work products and serve as a key resource to other engineering disciplines to help facilitate efficient and effective adoption of MBSE principles and practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Establishing MBSE implementation strategies for AMMM development programs
• Interacting with AMMM program, functional and customer leadership to ensure alignment of MBSE implementation goals, expectations and outcomes
• Collaborating with MBSE Digital Transformation functional competency to facilitate adoption of MBSE initiatives and tools
• Developing program architectures and system models utilizing established Aeronautics and Government reference architectures (ARA/GRA) to include interface control modeling
• Leading, mentoring and training SE team members to grow MBSE knowledge and capability within the team.
• Collaborating with other AMMM functional teams to ensure successful MBSE implementation

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering or STEM.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems engineering or related engineering discipline with hands on practice in requirements, analysis, decomposition, and verification.
• Systems Architecture modeling experience (e.g., ARA and GRA development, interface control modeling).
Desired Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience engaging with Engineering, Program and Customer leaders and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and mentor a team of systems engineers
• Experience in developing strategies and translating them into action and driving results
• Proficiency in SysML, Cameo, DOORS, Rational, Jira and other MBSE related tools
• Experience with the Siemens Xcelerator and/or Dassault 3DX PLM ecosystems
• Experience with Agile development tools and methodologies
• Experience with LM's Digital Transformation and SE modernization efforts.
• Experience with LM Aero lines of business, e.g. F-35, IFG, ADP or AMMM.
• INCOSE Certified Professional (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)
