We are seeking an advanced machinery controls system engineer focused on lifecycle support for USS ARLEIGH BURKE class destroyer Machinery Control Systems (MCS). Position requires expertise in both shipboard and Land Based Engineering Site (LBES) environments, working across multiple MCS variants with emphasis on hardware and software integration. This role demands extensive experience in developing and maintaining critical control systems for naval applications.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive lifecycle support for supervisory machinery control systems
- Contribute technical expertise to future MCS system designs
- Develop and refine system/software requirements for next-generation systems
- Execute complex troubleshooting of PLC-based control systems in both LBES and shipboard environments
- Conduct technical documentation review for current and future systems
- Develop sophisticated test procedures aligned with system requirements
- Provide expert advice and technical guidance on industrial control systems, using deep experience with PLCs, virtualization, and naval machinery controls to solve complex problems and support critical systems both onboard ships and at land-based engineering facilities.
Required Qualifications

- Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship
- Must have a valid US passport or ability to obtain one upon position acceptance
