As a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION ARTS SPECIALIST at the GS-1001-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Multimedia Product Development: Directs the design, development, and execution of a wide variety of multimedia products-including graphics, videos, webcasts, and print materials-ensuring quality and preservation of the agency's brand identity.
- Strategic Planning and Technology Management: Develops long-range strategic plans for audio and video technology, identifies emerging multimedia trends, and leverages innovative technology to enhance the agency's communications, marketing, and brand recognition.
- Subject Matter Expertise and Policy Compliance: Acts as the agency's subject matter expert for all visual and multimedia information, ensuring all divisional operations comply with Federal, DoD, and agency regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develops, manages, and allocates the division's annual budget to support operations and provides oversight for program management, logistics, and equipment to meet directorate and agency objectives.
- Supervisory Personnel Management: Exercises full supervisory responsibility, including planning and assigning work, developing performance standards, interviewing and selecting candidates, initiating personnel actions, and managing employee training and development.

- Executing a wide variety of multimedia products, including graphics, images, visual treatments, videos, webcasts, print materials, and other historical, commemorative, or marketing collateral (to include non-print material), while maintaining quality and customer service;
- Providing audio and video technology, tools for content design, generation and manipulation short and long-range strategic plans and objectives required to support Agency missions;
- Exercising supervisory responsibility of technical and personnel management activities and assigns work to be accomplished by assigned specialists, team members, and other support employees;
- Developing performance standards and objectives, tracks quality of work, and evaluates the performance of subordinate employees.
