We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer to join our technology-based program. This role supports the delivery of Enterprise Computing engineering services, focused on transitioning from legacy environments to modern, cloud-based infrastructure. As a mission-focused infrastructure engineer, you will independently identify and resolve complex infrastructure and data-hosting issues; assess system health, performance, and risk; and determine root causes across Windows, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud layers. The role requires hands-on expertise managing and optimizing enterprise Windows Server environments, including file services, user data hosting, shared resources, and cloud-based instances, as well as experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, Vision, and similar technologies. You will evaluate and recommend technical solutions, execute improvements, collaborate across teams, and capture lessons learned to enhance enterprise operations, resilience, and long-term sustainability.

Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Seeking a Windows Engineer with a minimum of 6 years' experience. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree are preferred with significant experience in the following areas:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Significant experience designing, administering, and supporting enterprise file services in Windows environments, including user personal data and shared resources, disk and volume management, and integration with SAN and iSCSI-based storage platforms.
- Experience designing, managing, and operating cloud-hosted workloads that support user personal data and shared data, with in-depth, hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, or equivalent) in hybrid enterprise environments.
- Experience with enterprise hosting platforms and services such as Vision or similar solutions.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues (Tier 3 and Tier 4 equivalent)
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining PowerShell and C# automation for system administration, configuration, and operational workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows security and access controls, including data protection, backup and recovery strategies, and compliance best practices.
- Familiarity with DFS management and failover concepts, including DFS Namespaces and DFS Replication
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Windows Server Failover Clusters
- Experience configuring and maintaining SMB, NTFS permissions, DFS Namespaces, and DFS Replication
- Experience with cloud file services such as Azure Files, Microsoft OneDrive, and AWS FSx
- Experience with SQL, including querying, database administration concepts, and integration of database services
- Proven experience supporting cloud-hosted user data and shared workloads, including hybrid cloud deployments
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as Service Desk, IT Operations, and Security
- Experience with Splunk or similar monitoring and log analytics platforms for system health and performance monitoring
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-tempo operational environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to quickly adjust to and learn new technologies.
- Experience writing enterprise-level technical standards, operational documentation, and architectural diagrams.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with users, peers, and leadership.
