As a EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF MANPOWER AND PERSONNEL at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:

A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

This position has been designated as a Key Career Position (KCP). The assignment will not be continuing and has an established tour limitation of 36-60 months as determined by the Career Field Team and Career Field Manager. Employees must sign a Memorandum of Understanding including Selection, Restriction, Outplacement, Tour and Mobility Agreement as a condition of employment. This addendum is effective 1 March 2014 and will be utilized upon the incumbent's exit from the position and for all future fills.

As a EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF MANPOWER AND PERSONNEL at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Serve as the Executive Director of Manpower and Personnel responsible for formulating program goals, plans, policies, and work plans for the directorate's joint mission.
- Plan, organize, and manage the activities of the directorate with the director and is primary advisor to the USTRANSCOM Commander on all civilian and joint military personnel issues aligned with the Human Resources lifecycle.
- Direct the command-wide Manpower and Personnel budget, planning, re-engineering, systems development, and innovation activities.
- Manage the development of command-wide, long-range personnel plans, program goals, policies, and procedures dealing with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES).
- Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Direct, coordinate, and oversee work through subordinate supervisors. Advise staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives.

- Serve as the recognized authority in the analysis, strategy, and direction of civilian and joint military personnel programs.
