Full Stack Developer

Blu Omega is seeking a Full Stack / Front-End Software Developer to Support the design, development, and implementation of modern, responsive web applications in support of clients serving public health.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain frontend application components using React or Angular and integrate with REST services, backend APIs, and cloud-based resources.
• Apply secure coding practices aligned with federal standards while working directly and collaboratively with product owners, architects, backend engineers, testers, and DevSecOps teams.
• Interpret requirements, develop technical specifications, implement frontend logic, support automated testing, and contribute to Agile team activities.
• Use AI assisted development tools to support code generation, refactoring, documentation automation, test development, and requirements interpretation.
• Can work without considerable direction.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience with frontend development using React or Angular
• Experience with JavaScript/ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Experience developing unit and integration tests and supporting automated test frameworks
• Ability to work directly and collaboratively with technical staff, including developers, architects, testers, and DevSecOps personnel
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or similar version control tools
• Experience applying secure coding standards and working within Agile delivery environments
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with AWS based architectures or cloud native development
• Experience with documentation focused on accuracy, consistency, and standardized terminology
• Experience with containerized development (Docker)
• Experience supporting federal environments and structured governance processes
• Experience using AI assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar)

Salary Range: $125K-$135K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
