Job Summary

• Seeking an Agile Developer to support the modernization of a legacy operational system through the design and implementation of a microservices-based architecture leveraging modern, cloud-native technologies
• This role is part of a cross-functional Agile team responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that replace legacy capabilities while maintaining operational continuity

Primary Responsibilities

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Utilizing Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implementing CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communicating and collaborating effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 5 years)
• 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree
• Experience working with AWS tool suite such as OSS, DynamoDB, Lambdas, and CloudWatch
• Required skills (3 of the below):
• • Java, Spring boot or python
  • Microservice architectures
  • CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible
  • Database : NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
  • OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
  • Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

160,000 - 220,000 USD per year (NBP)
