Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.

The Work

The Dissemination Specialist Team Lead oversees the collection, organization, and distribution of information, data, or materials to designated audiences. This position ensures the timely and accurate delivery of materials in accordance with established protocols, standards, and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process the movement of appropriately marked intelligence products between security domains.
  • Manage the sending and posting of products to approved individuals, organizations, and sites, including verifying users' security clearances and accesses.
  • Log potential inadvertent security incidents and utilize and maintain site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with relevant policy and guidance.
  • Ensure the timely, accurate, and complete generation and modification of intelligence product metadata consistent with client-approved standards.
  • Use client-specified tools to generate and modify product metadata, including but not limited to the Document Dissemination Tool (DDT), Create Organize Retrieve and Evaluate (CORE) tool, DIA Product Control Numbering Database (PCN DB), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Perform cross-domain dissemination of products and associated materials on approved networks.
  • Register disseminated products into approved intelligence repositories.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Active To Secret/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph.
  • Meets all qualifications and skills of a Senior Dissemination Specialist, plus:
    • 4 years demonstrated experience leading a team and managing work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
    • Demonstrated experience involving complex security classification decisions such as coalition/foreign partner support, foreign disclosure, intelligence dissemination, or cross-domain operations.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain documentation such as SOPs and ability to produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts.
    • Demonstrated understanding of metadata.
    • Demonstrated ability to instruct and interact with small groups on data and information requirements and coordination tasks.
    • Meets all qualifications and skills of a Senior Dissemination Specialist
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Associates degree with 7 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR High School Diploma with 9 years' experience in an intelligence discipline.
