Key Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise-level knowledge management (KM) strategy, governance, and implementation across complex programs supporting federal and D0D clients - specifically SPACECENT. This will be across all multiple networks (Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and assigned dashboards.
You will drive how knowledge is captured, structured, shared, and operationalized to improve mission execution, decision-making, and organizational learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and execution of enterprise KM and records management (RM) strategies
Develop, enforce, and audit KM and RM governance, policies, and best practices, including compliance with federal and joint records retention laws, doctrine, and regulations
Architect and optimize knowledge-sharing platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, knowledge portals, databases, internal websites) to include systems, processes, and technical capabilities to enable decision making at SPACECENT
Drive data-to-decision frameworks that enable leadership insights
Integrate KM and RM practices with business processes, IT systems, analytics, and compliance requirements
Facilitate communities of practice (CoPs) and cross-functional collaboration
Oversee taxonomy development, metadata standards, and content lifecycle management
Provide executive level briefings on KM maturity, adoption and return on investment
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior KM professionals and analysts
Support proposal efforts and strategic-growth initiatives

Work Environment:
  • Location: On-site
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Standard


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in Knowledge management, records management, information management, or data strategy
    proven experience designing and implementing KM frameworks at scale
  • TS/SCI security clearance
    strong understanding of DoD or federal environments (Department of the Air Force preferred)
  • Experience with platforms such as (SharePoint / SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 ecosystem)
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
    strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills


Desired:
  • KM certification (e.g., CKM - certified knowledge manager)
  • experience with data governance, AI/ML integration, or automation tools
  • familiarity with frameworks such as (Knowledge-Centered Service, Information Technology Instrastructure Library
  • experience supporting large-scale transformation or digital modernization efforts
  • background in cybersecurity, intelligence, or mission support environments
  • prior military experience in a KM specialty
  • COCOM or component field command experience


Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
