The Joint, Office of the Secretary of War , Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of War , Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Acquisition and Technology Analysis Group within JOID specializes in the application of multi-disciplinary analytic skills to support multiple clients within the Department of War ( DoW ). These clients include the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering ( OUSW (R&E)), Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment ( OUSW (A&S)), DARPA, the Joint Staff, and USINDOPACOM. SPA provides critical decision support to enabling and executing a strategy of technological superiority and enabling the delivery and sustainment of secure, resilient, and preeminent capabilities to the warfighter quickly and cost effectively. Our team of experienced military, technical, and operations research analysts is skilled in evaluating military problems, identifying the driving factors, devising innovative approaches, collecting applicable data, developing necessary software tools, and performing thorough and timely assessments to inform technology and acquisition governance decisions to ensure U.S. military forces retain military superiority in the future.
We have a current need for a Sr. Space & Intelligence Acquisition Analyst supporting OUSW(A&S). The position is fully onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities
The Senior Space and Intelligence Acquisition Analyst will enable development, operation, and oversight of the nation's space-based ISR systems and architectures that deliver capabilities addressing the nation's highest priority intelligence needs. This role will lead policy, strategy, and capability integration for Title 10 space programs, leveraging advanced working knowledge of space operations. The Analyst will routinely provide senior leader decision support and enable OSW acquisition oversight through forums such as National Intelligence Acquisition Boards (NIABs).

Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of relevant experience supporting DoW, IC, or national space programs
- Master's Degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Expertise providing advisory and consultant services on complex technical or programmatic issues, particularly those involving major weapons or space systems
- Clear understanding of how programs contribute to warfighting capabilities and nest within an ecosystem
- Demonstrated knowledge of space operational plans, policy, and strategy
- Experience supporting senior leaders within the Intelligence Community, Service Acquisition Executives, Joint Staff, or Office of the Secretary of War
- Proven ability to support senior leader engagements, governance forums, and cross-enterprise coordination.
- Experience providing technical, engineering, integration, or program analysis support for space-based ISR systems.
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
Desired:
- Defense acquisition experience highly desired
- DAWIA / WarU certification(s)
- Holistic systems programmatic and engineering experience
- Strategic understanding of data flows from collection/sensor to mission execution
