Job Description

GCyber is seeking a VoIP/VoSIP & Cable Technician, to help support our government customer. The VoIP/VoSIP & Cable Technician provides full-scope voice infrastructure and cable plant coverage.

As the VoIP/VoSIP & Cable Technician, you will:
  • Serve as the primary VoIP/VoSIP infrastructure resource: installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Manage all Norfolk cable plant operations: installation, maintenance, documentation, and support
  • Coordinate with X003 Infrastructure Lead and Senior Infrastructure Engineer on cross-site activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all voice and cable infrastructure work
  • Support infrastructure section activities as directed; operate with minimal supervision at remote site
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance, Top Secret preferred
  • Bachelors degree or 4+ years experience
  • 3+ years of VoIP/VoSIP experience in a DoD or government network environment
  • Structured cabling experience
  • DoD network environment experience
  • BICSI preferred
  • Cisco voice platform experience preferred
