Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to be the primary interface between IT development and business. The main job function will support the existing implementations as well as applications supporting shop floor Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Shop floor operations, Quality, Supply Chain, & EH&S production footprint, design enhancements, and improve systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the business.

Essential Functions:

• Provide functional/technical expertise along with Outsourcing oversight for implementations as well as applications supporting Shop floor Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, & EH&S. L3Harris business processes.
• Strong experience of Manufacturing Operations - Digital Operations, Digital Manufacturing, Shop floor Automation
• Strong experience of Manufacturing, Quality Applications configuration, installations, troubleshooting applications issue, and end user support.
• Strong customer interface skills with Center of Excellence customers, L3Harris IT Application support, and L3Harris leadership required.
• Ability to drive Information Technology project closer across multiple business unit contacts
• Demonstrate the ability to customize and configure MES applications to support manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshooting / Researching /Resolving Applications and User Reported Technical Issues or Processing discrepancies
• Experience in Support of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. i.e. Development, Test, Qualification, & Production process
• Manage project initiatives important to the organization with general supervision
• Provides functional knowledge using implementation methodology through all phases of an implementation project including Analysis, Design, Build, Testing, Training, and Support
• Demonstrated ability to develop and provide training
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including public speaking.
• General Knowledge of typical Shop Floor Processes which support ME's, QE's, Quality Inspectors, Machine Operators, Assembly Technicians, NC Operators, etc.
• Conceptual understanding of Shop Floor Management including Work in Process, Shop Order Scheduling, Configuration Control, Quality Management, Non-Conformance Process, Material Flow and Inventory Management, Shop Floor Documentation Management.
• Team skills - develop relationships across value stream and enabling department resources to effectively manage product value stream.
• Candidates must be able to thrive in a team environment, work independently, and embrace continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

• Ability to work with and collaborate with all levels of business users within the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including public speaking.
