Description:What You Will Be Doing:
It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the F-35 Maintenance Systems Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Operational Data-Integrated Network (ODIN)that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan ahead, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. It provides the Information & Technology (IT) backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.
Reporting to the Product Engineering & Sustainment Manager, the selected candidate will serve as a Systems Architect within the Sustainment Integrated Tools & Engineering (SITE) organization. This position will support the sustainment of F-35 locations worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the evaluation and integration of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) hardware to support existing computing and firewall platforms for the F-35 ALIS/ODIN.
Responsibilities will also include supporting ALIS/ODIN upgrades, special projects and production deployments.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
• Undergraduate STEM degree
• Experience in systems, network, and hardware configuration
• Experience with ALIS/ODIN
Desired Skills:
• High familiarity with ALIS/ODIN
• Experience in software engineering processes and technical documentation
• Proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office
• Experience in sustainment of complex systems
• Ability to collaborate and integrate high performance multi-functional teams
• Good verbal & written communication skills to different levels of the organization including external customers, and the ability to create presentation material for recurring meetings
• Detail orientated, flexible, and adaptable
• Self-starter who identifies issues, proposes solutions, and escalates when necessary
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all organization levels

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
