Description:What You Will Be Doing
The candidate is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
The project manager responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management like - Project Planning, Budget Tracking, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.
Provide oversight ensuring achievement of operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and enforcement of customer standards.
Assist the customer in meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assisting in preparation of an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Liaise with engineers, IT, security and other vested stakeholders in order to ensure complete, concise requirements for construction and building upgrades are communicated and met.
Have a sound understanding of the complex and dynamic roles of all personnel involved in design, planning, and construction phases. Providing expert knowledge of responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customer, management, sub-contractor management, project team, vendors and other affected by the project.
Ability to define the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customers, management, sub-contractor management, project team, vendors and others affected by the project.
Prepares and presents oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations.
Individual must be able to triage building issues within facility with minimal assistance in order to maintain mission critical systems (HVAC, electrical, communications, security), with the expertise to evaluate and know who/when to call for additional assistance.
Responsible for maintaining existing facilities, grounds, lighting, enclosures, fences, gates, alarms and building systems to the customer's standards.
Maintain a working knowledge of automated building controls systems. Maintain a working knowledge of GSA locks.
Maintain a working knowledge of hazardous material handling.
Maintain a working understanding of Federal, State, and Department of the Army safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain a working understanding of Department of Defense Directive 705 security regulations.
Maintain a working understanding of federal government service and construction contracting.
Maintain a working understanding of federal government construction quality assurance.
Be familiar with the concepts and applications of engineering disciplines, and reading of design drawings and equipment specifications.
Establish and maintain a facilities project tracking list, be prepared to brief statuses as required to the government customer.
Organize and conduct project team meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
