You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the CORE team which is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting common simulation software infrastructure products for the Aeronautics Simulation and System Integration Labs (SSL) department.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance to start.
This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline. (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering preferred)
• C++ or Java programming experience
• Experience with Linux operating systems
Desired Skills:
• Experience with containerized development environments (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, Podman)
• Experience using Object-Oriented Design techniques
• Knowledge of Redhat Package Manager (RPM)
• Experience in Python programming
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience with Gitlab
• Familiarity with simulation systems (Hardware-in-the-Loop or Man-in-the-Loop)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
