Description:Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Risk and Opportunity (R/O) manager responsible for ensuring consistent, efficient, and effective application of risk and opportunity management (ROM) process across assigned contracts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Risk Management Partner you will Work with a geographically dispersed organization of Program Managers, R/O Owners, Program Planners, Business Managers and Sr. Leadership to manage risks/opportunities for either the F-16 or F-22 portfolio of contracts through proper application of R/O identification, status, and escalation processes.
Provide direct oversight and assessments of the adequacy of the existing R/O registries including calculations of quantifiable cost and schedule consequences and the likelihood of occurrence.
Ensure Net Factored Risk (NFR) impacts are adequate and utilized across the IFG LOB.
Facilitate monthly internal and external Risk Boards between Risk/Opportunity owners, Program Managers, Business Managers, Program Planners, Program Directors and the Customer.
Support Aero R/O training, continuous education, coordination with working groups and functional teams.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, be able to obtain and hold a Secret clearance and F-22 Program Clearance as part of employment.
The role is located in Fort Worth, Tx with an expectation for onsite support at least 1 day per week.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or combination of experience/education
• Experience producing solutions, executable plans and drive results using imprecise or limited information
• Experience managing numerous action items simultaneously to track and drive deliverables to on-time closure
• Familiarity with program management methodologies that integrate schedule, cost, and scope
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and have impact when presented an abstract problem that requires a solution
• Experience with program management methodologies that integrate schedule, cost, and scope to measure risk and project performance. (e.g. Earned Value Management (EVM), Control Account Manager (CAM), Risk management, etc.) across geographically disperse locations and teams while achieving demonstrated results.
• Mitigation/contingency planning experience
• Demonstrated experience and application of using ROADS Risk Opportunity Database for Success (ROADS) Tool
• Strong executive communication skills
• Prior experience working and communicating with US Government Program Office or Military Equivalent
• An innovative thinker who builds relationships through advanced interpersonal, oral, and written skills
