Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Position requires 2+ years of production engineering experience with a related Bachelor's degree or a related Master's degree.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience writing technical work instructions
Able to work in a cross function, teaming environment
Detailed knowledge of GD&T
SAP Experience
Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques
CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design
Experience working with electro-mechanical and/or optical assemblies
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Join the Manufacturing Engineering group in the Lockheed Martin Sensor Integration and Test Center.
What You Will Be Doing
- Translate complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into easy-to-follow, all-encompassing work instructions for the mechanics/assemblers on the production floor.
- Improve the overall process of the build using complex, cutting-edge technologies and automation.
- Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems through troubleshooting and development of new processes for ever-changing products built in our factory.
- Perform root-cause corrective action (RCCA) and Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts.
- Develop process improvements to lower cost, increase quality, and deliver a better, repeatable product faster.
