Job Description

*****MUST have completely open shift availability, and MUST be able to start onsite in Greenville, SC on 4/20/26. This is a mission critical opening directly issued from high up, there will be no exceptions to this*****

There are 2 different types of APG Mechanic openings. Both require 6+ years of recent aircraft experience. 4+ years of experience is accepted, if your experience is on fighters.


1) F-16 Production Flightline APG Mechanic- This position will be part of the Greenville Support Operations (GSO) Aircraft Maintenance Team, supporting New Production Delivery of the F-16 at Greenville, South Carolina. Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine trouble shooting. Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing. Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pneudraulic systems and components on the aircraft. Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft. Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.

You will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:

• Landing gear
• Powerplants
• Flight controls
• Fueling/Defueling
• Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery

Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred


2) Production FACO APG, F-16 Technician
You will be the Production FACO APG, F-16 Technician for the Production Team. This team is responsible for Final assembly check out maintenance and delivery of F-16 aircraft to customers.

You will be responsible for Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.

You will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
• Landing gear
• Powerplants
• Flight controls
• Fueling/Defueling
• Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery

Aircraft Flightline Experience is Strongly Preferred

Phase Maintenance, Final Assembly or Flight Ops/Flight Readiness experience
