What Impact You'll Have
National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is responsible for the development, implementation, and extension of today's evolving National System for Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) (NSG) architecture to the forward edge, delivering GEOINT data and services in a myriad of forms in support of forward deployed warfighters. The current effort is focused on rapid identification and deployment of innovative and disruptive technologies, upgrades, and modifications to the current NSG architecture, and enhancement of analytic capabilities to optimize detection, collection, processing, characterization, exploitation, and dissemination of GEOINT to NGA mission partners.

What You'll be Owning
- Provide both Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) support, related training delivery, instructional tradecraft development, user outreach/engagement, systems sustainment, and advanced data analytics, as required, to support the Joint Regional Edge Node (JREN) deployments worldwide. This support shall include all security, technical and engineering resources, as authorized, to ensure all the JREN systems are successfully deployed and maintained.
- Support meetings, gather stakeholder input, and provide presentations to potential users to increase awareness and adoption of the JREN capabilities.
- Work with other Mission Partners as directed to ensure that all NGA-related capabilities are fully exploited wherever possible.
- Perform market research to evaluate Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) / Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) tools, Research and Development (R&D) prototypes, and previously used component technologies that could reduce timelines to transition, cost, or reduce development risk as well as utilize agile development approaches for both R&D and component integration activities.
- In an engineering support capacity, actively bring operational and analytical perspective to ongoing tools development activities. Although not all-inclusive, this can come in the form of testing, data integrity, help-desk, O&M and mission engineering support. This individual is expected to be comfortable in this capacity, with an understanding of and/or experience in agile software development processes
- Introduce and integrate new tool capabilities and related multi-INT methodology to a broad range of customers and their unique mission sets. Ensure training approach addresses all levels of user, spanning a variety of different mission applications
- Work with end users to identify gaps/requirements and continually refine, assess, and document technical user requirements as related to the JREN.
- Providing data and custom products to operator teams and teaching new workflows to adapt to their unique skillset and environment
What You Must Have
- US Citizen with Current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR Associates degree with 12 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR High School Diploma with 15 years' experience in an intelligence discipline
- Experience in supporting training in classroom, rural and urban environments, utilizing all standard computer software, proficient in the use of unclassified programs heavily utilized by all intelligence operations; Microsoft OS and Microsoft Office suite of programs and SOF GEOINT programs and software (i.e., SOCET, ARCGIS, QT, Google Earth, mIRC) to perform professional development of courses and training events as required.
- Software and tool configuration engineering experience, creating user friendly UI/UX by leveraging experience as an IA/GA/ABI analyst. Provide "field-to-office" workflows for data capture and provide best analytical methods to exploit data
- Experience to provide timelines, resource considerations, and cost to benefit analysis of introducing new tools and workflows from desktop to enterprise environments. Ensure the right product is selected to answer requirements with the least cost/impact
- AI/ML analysis/production experience, provide customized scripts, notebooks, tradecraft to enable non-savvy users to perform AI/ML operations in the Edge environment. Identify challenges of working at the edge, simplify tool interface, ensure data standards and accuracy
- Streamlined data management pipelines, ensure organizations are conducting best practices when storing, analyzing, and capturing data. Provide data modernization guidance for all levels in an organization to improve discoverability, dissemination, and scalability
- Understand GEOINT Tradecraft best practices and host analysis workshops, leverage all skills developed from enterprise, deployment, engineering, analysis roles to host workshops for users. Ensure knowledge transfer with sustainable lessons and create easy to follow operating procedures for adopting and leveraging new technologies and skills. Provide a foundation for learning that can be customized based on user requirements and continually improved upon after completion of the workshop.
