- Perform audio and/or text translation from source language to idiomatic, standard American English.
- Conduct research via specialized dictionaries, open-source materials, or expert interviews to understand highly technical or unique vocabulary.
- Assist stakeholders with target knowledge, knowledge of the SIGINT system and tradecraft, and developing analysis and production workflows.
- Conduct target development and assist with TDNA/TAR functions as needed.
- Use technical skills and experience to provide feedback and advice to government sponsors, while also taking direction and tasking from sponsors.
- Work with military, government, and other contractor personnel in a collaborative environment.
What You Must Have
- US DoD TS Clearance, SSBI/SBPR/PPR (within 5 years), with current poly
- 20+ years experience in cryptologic language processing or combined 20+ years experience in cryptologic language processing and applicable technical field
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently
- Skilled at engaging with government stakeholders at all levels
- Proof of language proficiency (DLI graduation, recent DLPT score, other acceptable documentation) in Chinese Mandarin.
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS required up to 10 days semi-annually
- Ability to work on site at Ft. Meade, Maryland.
What Would be Nice to Have
- Technical knowledge on topics such as naval platforms, engineering, or networking
- Experience as a Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA) or Target Analyst Reporter (TAR).
- Advanced language certifications/training (DLI advanced course, college degree)
- Bachelor's Degree.
