As a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY SPECIALIST, GS-2005-10, you will:
This position is located in the Air National Guard, Mission Support Group, Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS), Materiel Management Flight. The primary purpose is to direct the performance of the Asset Management Section, Maintenance Support Section, and Customer Support Section to include the management, direction and supervision of assigned employees.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position. The AFSC(s) require an aptitude of A41 or G44 and a physical profile of 333333J. Aptitude scores can be checked on the vMPF or at the Customer Service in the Force Support Squadron and physical profile in the medical squadron. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full-time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Experience, education, or training in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must have at least 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade level experience, education, or training in managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.

- Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
- May be required to successfully complete a supervisory trial period.

- Knowledge to provide technical and administrative supervision to subordinate personnel directly and through subordinate supervisors.
- Skill to develop goals and objectives that integrate organizational and Material Management Flight objectives.
- Skill in establishing, developing, and maintaining effective working relationships with other flights, supported organizations, and higher headquarters.
- Knowledge and ability to plan and direct all Asset Management Section, Maintenance Support Section, and Customer Support Section functions to provide all logistical support required by the wing and supported organizations. .
