Junior-Mid AI/Data Consultant

Blu Omega is looking for a motivated Junior-Mid AI/Data Consultant to support projects in AI and data science, focusing on healthcare analytics and enterprise solutions.

In this role, you'll help design and develop AI applications like generative models, data pipelines, and decision-making systems. Clearance Needed: Must be able to obtain a CDC Public Trust

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and implementing AI systems for automation and decision-making.
• Help develop Generative AI applications such as summaries, chatbots, and predictive tools.
• Support the building and maintenance of data pipelines that handle both structured and unstructured data.
• Apply basic statistical and machine learning techniques for analyzing data and providing insights.
• Participate in AI projects like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and knowledge graph integration.
• Work with team members to create dashboards and reports with AI insights.
• Learn from senior staff and share best practices in data science and AI methods.

Qualifications:

• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in AI or data analytics, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, preferably in healthcare or enterprise data.
• Some experience with Python, R, and AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI models, large language models (LLMs), and agent-based AI systems.
• Knowledge of SQL and working with cloud data platforms is a plus.
• Good communication skills to explain AI concepts to non-technical teammates.
• Interest in learning new AI tools and techniques.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Some knowledge of deploying AI models or working with DevOps practices.
• Background in healthcare analytics or related fields.
• Certifications in data science or AI would be a bonus.

Salary Range: $85K-$100K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
