Job Description
Project Support Manager: The Project Support Manager shall be located in
Washington, DC - headquarters - and is responsible for providing support to the
Resident Manager and direction to the Washington office support staff; for
recruitment/staffing, including providing the best qualified candidates for positions.
and, for ensuring satisfactory performance under this contract.
The Project Support Manager shall act as liaison between the contractor site office and the Contracting Officer and the Washington-based ACORs (henceforth ACOR-Ws for EUR and
EAP), as well as assisting with the negotiation and preparation of proposals for any contract modifications. A Top-Secret security clearance issued by the Department of State or Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is required.
The Project Support Manager must have a bachelor's degree or higher and at least six
years' experience with project management and/or support functions on similar size or
larger labor contract, including providing personnel, payroll and logistics support
functions.
Additional education or other experience may be substituted for project
support experience subject to Contracting Officer approval. Must have good
interpersonal skills and good ability to communicate orally and in writing.
The Project Support Manager or a designated representative shall meet as needed
with Government personnel designated by the Contracting Officer to discuss
immediate problem areas. The Project Support Manager or a representative shall
respond within 24 hours after notification by the Contracting Officer or the ACORWs.
The Contractor shall provide the telephone number of the person(s) to call
should the need arise. Telephone numbers shall be provided annually or within five
working days of a change in key personnel.
