Job Description:

Vaxcom Services LLC (a Parsons company) is looking for a cleared escort schedule coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to lead, manage, train, and mentor a cadre of cleared security escorts in a classified environment. The selected candidate will be expected to cover three facility locations all in the greater Northern VA area.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Providing one-on-one training to all newly hired cleared security escorts.
  • Overseeing daily operations and escort assignments for a team of up to 15 personnel in a fluid work environment.
  • Analyzing, creating, communicating, and editing (as needed) a weekly project schedule of work assignments for the escort team. This will also include assigning ad-hoc escort opportunities as needed and adjusting assignments for late-breaking schedule deviations.
  • Providing daily accountability reports to the Customer and weekly status reports via designated communication channels.
  • Coordinating regularly with the Customer's security vendor program managers/supervisors.
  • Escalating resource issues (radios, equipment, etc.) to the appropriate Customer personnel.
  • Attempting to resolve issues at the lowest level but escalating situations to the Customer Program Manager and Vaxcom leadership when necessary.
  • Demonstrating solid judgment, tact, diplomacy, and mission focus in order to bring about successful results.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Associates Degree and two years of related experience working as part of a team providing guidance and instruction to others whether formal or informal. In lieu of Associates Degree, eight years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze Customer work assignment requirements and produce/coordinate schedules that provide coverage at all locations for designated times.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels from the team, Customer, and Vaxcom. This will include oral, written, and briefing skills/experience, and solid interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide formal training and mentoring to newly hired team members ensuring they meet expectations.
  • Will be required to maintain clear and concise work standards and goals as established by the Customer, and communicate those to the team regularly.
  • Ability to monitor team/individual performance and make recommendations to management to address less than successful performance quickly.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Ability to learn and then apply Customer and Vaxcom policies and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of tools and solid computer proficiency.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Two+ years experience leading a small to medium sized team.
  • Previous experience working in a classified facility/environment.
  • Previous experience working with schedules and assignments in any capacity.
  • Previous experience working directly/interacting with senior leadership.


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
