As a Backend Software Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible to:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions under guidance
- Collaborate with senior engineers and team leads to implement features and resolve technical challenges
- Analyze user requirements to support software design and performance objectives
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Assist with design and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues across the development lifecycle
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement efforts
- Work on well-defined problems of moderate scope with guidance from senior team members

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution and 7+ years of relevant experience, OR
- Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
- Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience using with Jira and Confluence
- Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Git
- Java, C++, Python
- Relational database, such as Postgres
- SQL
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with:
- Docker/Kubernetes
- HAProxy
- Nginx
- Elastic Stack
