We are seeking a space domain expert to support the Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) / Space Domain Awareness division to perform on-site analysis. This position will require in-office work at the customer site five days a week.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00

We are seeking a space domain expert to support the Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) / Space Domain Awareness division to perform on-site analysis. This position will require in-office work at the customer site five days a week.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct on-site Space Domain Awareness (SDA) analytical support
- Perform analysis that informs ongoing studies and force design efforts
- Collaborate directly with government sponsors and a diverse contractor team
- Execute rapid, quick-turn analytical tasks in support of mission needs
- Develop minimally viable prototypes to support analytical findings and concepts
- Analyze and evaluate SDA systems-of-systems, including their design and operation
- Bring a deep understanding of SDA architectures, capabilities, and operational concepts
- Identify novel opportunities and innovative approaches related to SDA
- Communicate analytical findings and insights to senior leadership and decision makers
- Support efforts that inform senior leaders and acquisition agencies on current and future mission needs
Required Skills :
- TS/SCI w/Poly (Have an existing poly or be willing to submit to a poly)
- 10+ years' experience with DoW or commercial SDA systems
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or other technical field with demonstrated experience analyzing and reporting on large datasets
- Notional understanding of space domain awareness or space operations, with an interest in the underlying operation of SDA systems
- Analysis language skills: Python, MATLAB, R
Desired Skills :
- Master of Science degree in related engineering field
- Extensive experience with statistics and statistical modeling (including the use of analysis languages previously mentioned)
- Extensive software development experience including DevSecOps tooling; prior experience developing and deploying software on TS/SCI systems
- Experience with and deep understanding of statistical estimation and astrodynamics / orbit determination
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
