PRIMARY FUNCTION
Yulista is a fast-paced government contractor specializing in high-mix, low volume manufacturing. Quality Technical Analyst is responsible to review technical build packages and ensuring readiness of the QC departments and coordinating first articles, inspection plans and customer events with the QE team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Implement automatic and consistent methods of reporting data through Excel macros, & Power BI dashboards
• Use Power BI to perform statistical analysis and automate visualizations highlighting anomalies and identifying trends.
• Support planning, review, approval, and application of First Article Inspections (FAI) including the preparation of the AS9102
• Reviews technical drawings and specifications for accuracy and inspection suitability.
• Performing mechanical/electrical technical data package interpretation and develops standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Develops work instructions in support of business needs.
• Collaborates with engineering, integration, manufacturing and/or aviation functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Performing required data development and analysis to maintain metrics of the department.
• Ensure that issues affecting product quality have effective corrective actions/plans in place that will result in resolution and/or risk mitigation plans that will minimize product quality.
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials. Arrange for delivery, assembly or distribution of components and supplies to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules
• Serves as the primary point-of-contact for quality inspectors and planners.
• Support Product Configuration Audits (PCA)
• Provide expertise on the implementation and control of Special Processes, as defined in AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management Systems.
• Other duties as directed by Senior Managers and other quality leadership.
• Travel may be required for this position up to 10%
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI capability.
• Applicable understanding GD&T (ASME Y 14.5) and engineering drawings (ASMEY14.24)
• Understanding of Quality standards and requirements such as IPC, AWS, NADCAP or SAE guidelines.
• Proficiency in range of QC inspection practices and tools for mechanical or electrical wiring fabrication.
• Detailed Understanding of AS9102 FAI Processes and forms
• Proficiency in AS9100/ISO9000 environments (NADCAP a plus).
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ten (10) years Quality experience preferred, minimum of Six (6) years working with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements (Government and/or Commercial). Applicable education accepted as experience.
• A strong background in Excel and Power BI.
• A strong background and experience in a manufacturing environment in the areas of mechanical, electrical, finishing or system integration.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
• Working knowledge and experience with Deltek ERP tools, Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (1 or more):
• Associates Degree or above in technical field.
• Usage of Six Sigma Tools
• Experience in APQP or AS6500 environments.
• Experience in manufacturing estimating or planning
• Familiar with TIP Technology Software tools
• Familiar with reporting tools such as Agile, Power BI, or similar
