Sayres Defense is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer II to support cybersecurity operations and system security compliance efforts for JUSMAG Philippines. This role supports the protection and accreditation of mission-critical systems within a DoD environment.

Overview
Sayres Defense is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer II to support cybersecurity operations and system security compliance efforts for JUSMAG Philippines. This role supports the protection and accreditation of mission-critical systems within a DoD environment.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of cybersecurity controls in accordance with DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework)
- Assist in system Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities
- Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation planning
- Support development and maintenance of cybersecurity documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, etc.)
- Monitor system compliance with security policies and standards
- Coordinate with system owners, engineers, and ISSOs to ensure cybersecurity integration
- Support incident response and continuous monitoring activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience (10+ years preferred)
- Experience with DoD RMF, NIST 800-53, and A&A processes
- Relevant certification preferred (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with network security, system hardening, and vulnerability tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
