PRISM is seeking a Data Scientist to work with massive datasets, developing complex queries and analyzing high-volume results to produce actionable insights for a government sponsor. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience with ECL and HPCC, manipulating both structured and unstructured data to support technical targeting efforts. You will perform large-scale parallel data processing in clustered computing environments using languages such as Python, R, Pig, Java, or SQL. Your role involves developing and validating analytic methodologies to meet rigorous requirements, transforming raw data into sophisticated reporting products.

- Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Build and run complex queries on massive data systems.
- Generate reports and analytic products.
- Apply advanced analytic techniques for technical targeting.
- Perform parallel data processing in clustered computing environments.
- Develop and validate analytic methodologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (SKILLS/EDUCATION):
- BS degree with 5+ years of demonstratable experience.
- Demonstrated experience using analytic techniques and tools. performing technical targeting analytic support for the Sponsor.
- Demonstrated experience manipulating high-volume structured and unstructured data to perform analysis and generate reporting/products.
- Demonstrated experience using computer languages (e.g., Python, R, Pig, Java, C, SQL) to perform large scale parallel processing of data.
- Demonstrated experience performing large scale parallel processing of data, and developing, validating, and using methodologies to support analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Educational or practical experience in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field.
