Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Plymouth, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aero/defense location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols for restricted and controlled areas.
• Support Allied Universal and site management with routine reports, incident documentation, and/or observations related to facility operations, equipment conditions, and personnel activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
