Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a professional aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site protocols, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and following post orders for security-related duties across varying environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD TS-SCI Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
