Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual conditions and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help support compliance with location rules and restricted area requirements.
• Write clear, detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or notable conditions, and relay important information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
