Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking a Performance Metrics Analyst to support anticipated programming with the Department of War (DoW). This opportunity will provide program support, policy support, and technical assistance services to support Counterdrug (CD)/Counter-Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC)/Counter-Threat Finance (CTF) mission needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), The Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Military Departments, and Defense Agencies.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities
- Design, track, and communicate performance indicators to support organizational goals, delivering real-time, actionable insights through quantitative and qualitative portfolio analysis.
- Advise and assist USG personnel on performance measurement and management policies.
- Assess the impact of new or revised USG policies and strategic guidance on programs funded by the DoD CD appropriation.
- Evaluate alignment between DoD and CN&SP strategic goals and proposed CCMD, Military Service, and Defense Agency initiatives targeting global drug trafficking and illicit threat networks.
- Analyze National Drug Control Program strategies, priorities, and guidance; support USG personnel in developing aligned DoD performance plans, objectives, metrics, evaluation criteria, and reports.
- Independently develop recommendations, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement with minimal guidance.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- M aster's degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field of study .
- Ten (10) years' experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DoW , other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents, and will be expected to perform at the level of a mid-range GS-15 equivalent.
- Comprehensive understanding of performance measurement concepts and principles used to inform USG decision making related to current and projected operational requirements, objectives , and capabilities of the OSD, Joint Staff, CCMDs, Military Departments, Defense Agencies, and other USG stakeholders .
- Knowledge and experience in applying performance concepts and principles to develop performance criteria, draft implementation guidance, and identify opportunities for USG program investment based on projected return on investment (ROI).
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to translate highly technical information into plain language for effective communication with Do W and other USG staff in the performance of all duties, tasks and services .
