Overview
Abacus Technology is seeking a Cyber Operations Lead to oversee and guide a technical team for the AFCENT Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
5+ years experience in cyber security. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must be Security+ and CEH certified. Must be Network+ or CCNA certified. Must hold the ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification or be able to obtain the certification within 60 days of hire. Must have firewall experience. Experience with intrusion detection and vulnerability assessments. Networking experience including routers, switches, and firewalls. Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment with an adaptive personality. Strong analytical and communication skills. Must be a team player able to work professionally and collaboratively with the government customer and other contract members of the project team. Must be able to provide support in a 24/7/365 environment including occasionally covering shifts outside of the assigned shift and/or providing after hours, weekend, or holiday support as needed on a rotational basis. Must be able to travel to CONUS sites to provide TDY support. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).

- Establish and enforce analytical and operational processes and procedures for all analysts.
- Lead, direct, support, and review the work of analysts on shift.
- Address technical and non-technical issues from the analyst team.
- Coach and mentor the analyst team across all skill levels.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and regular review of job aids, SOP's, checklists and other technical documents.
- Guide the development of training materials and processes.
- Improve and maintain collaboration efforts with task counterparts in CSEC, throughout A6, and at JCCC.
- Assist site lead to guide and coordinate projects that benefit the task.
- Provide quality control through the holistic review of analyst work.
- Participate in strategic meetings, technical exchanges, troubleshooting sessions and other events as necessary with the Shaw AFB Cybersecurity team.
- Review and approve job aids, SOP's, checklists, training materials, processes, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure quality control through the holistic review of analyst work.
- Provide input regarding staffing matters.
- Work with the site and shift leads to coordinate and ensure shift coverage.
