About the Job
The Data Integration, Team Lead supports the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command Data Capabilities Division by leading data governance, data onboarding, architecture support, and Unified Data Environment execution across Army intelligence data activities. This role serves as a key integrator between data providers, data consumers, system owners, and government stakeholders to improve access, control, documentation, and integration of authoritative intelligence data sources. Acting as a senior lead, this position oversees data lifecycle and sourcing efforts, guides agile task execution, supports data framework development, and enables informed decision-making related to data onboarding, interoperability, and sustainment.

About the Job
The Data Integration, Team Lead supports the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command Data Capabilities Division by leading data governance, data onboarding, architecture support, and Unified Data Environment execution across Army intelligence data activities. This role serves as a key integrator between data providers, data consumers, system owners, and government stakeholders to improve access, control, documentation, and integration of authoritative intelligence data sources. Acting as a senior lead, this position oversees data lifecycle and sourcing efforts, guides agile task execution, supports data framework development, and enables informed decision-making related to data onboarding, interoperability, and sustainment.
Responsibilities
Data Governance and Lifecycle Leadership
- Lead team execution of data lifecycle management activities using agile methods and government-provided tools.
- Oversee task logging, work prioritization, Standard Operating Procedure development, and status reporting for data integration activities.
- Support the development of Army intelligence data and architecture documentation, frameworks, and governance artifacts.
- Represent government interests in data councils, working groups, partner engagements, and related forums as directed.
Data Onboarding and Sourcing
- Engage data providers and data consumers to capture requirements and support onboarding of government-directed data sources.
- Oversee preparation of data integration approval forms, data sharing agreements, and related source documentation.
- Support cataloging and curation of authoritative Army, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community data sources.
- Maintain and update the Data Capabilities Division Automated Data Governance Solution and related source status information.
Technical Coordination and Integration Support
- Coordinate with technical points of contact to resolve network, firewall, accessibility, and interoperability issues affecting data exchange.
- Support onboarding of Army data systems into approved operational domain solutions.
- Assist with data exchange among authoritative databases and programs of record.
- Identify continuity plans, fallback approaches, and practical courses of action to sustain data integration efforts.
Leadership Communication and Mission Support
- Brief government leadership on status, risks, issues, and opportunities affecting data sourcing and integration.
- Develop slides, reports, and decision-support materials for recurring and ad hoc engagements.
- Identify information-sharing and intelligence integration challenges and recommend improvements to reduce redundancy and enhance service delivery.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to improve data access, discoverability, and mission effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of experience leading teams and managing intelligence-related work across planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
- Minimum of four years of demonstrated experience supporting data integration across data governance, architecture, warehousing, data quality, metadata management, data operations, and data discovery.
- Demonstrated experience supporting bilateral or multilateral information-sharing or system interoperability efforts.
- Strong coordination skills and ability to work effectively with small groups to meet data and information requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to draft, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures and produce clear, structured reports.
- Current Department of Defense Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
- Ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
- Ability to obtain Department of Defense 8140 Information Technology Level II certification within 30 calendar days of indoctrination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Army, Department of Defense, or Intelligence Community data governance and architecture efforts.
- Experience with agile execution, data catalogs, onboarding workflows, and enterprise data management.
- Experience with data integration approval forms, data sharing agreements, and authoritative data source documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Associate degree with seven years of intelligence experience, or high school diploma with nine years of intelligence experience, may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
