Job Description

Description

  • Formatting, researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical data for use in routine documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications while following established procedures under general supervision
  • Ensuring technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
  • Assisting in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations and suggesting revisions to the guidelines and standards
  • Maintaining the style guide
  • Maintaining documentation in content or document management systems
  • Providing input to or update schedules to track document delivery milestones
  • Writing, editing, or reviewing proposals and/or marketing materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of work-related experience, or a master's degree and one year work related experience in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
