TSC is seeking an Electronic Technician in Huntsville, Al This position supports the Radar & Precision Weapons Development (RPWD) Operation.

TSC's Radar & Precision Weapons Development Operation provides products and services in the areas of radar, communication systems, sensors, antennas and other electronics systems to the missile, radar/sensor system, communications, control systems, data acquisition, and signal processing markets. The company has developed products ranging from chip-level, application-specific, integrated circuits (ASIC) to complete, turnkey radar and communication systems. TSC has established a state-of-the-art hardware capability that is well respected by customers in Government and Industry. TSC also provides full spectrum systems engineering support including theoretical analysis, requirements generation, interface control, and test planning/execution/data analysis.
Job Description:
TSC's RPWD Operation in Huntsville, AL is currently looking to hire an Electronics Technician with an educational and/or industry focus in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly utilizing machinery associated with an SMT line.
Responsibilities:
This position requires a flexible individual with experience in one or more of the following categories.

Job Description:
TSC's RPWD Operation in Huntsville, AL is currently looking to hire an Electronics Technician with an educational and/or industry focus in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly utilizing machinery associated with an SMT line.
Responsibilities:
This position requires a flexible individual with experience in one or more of the following categories.
- PCB assembly operating/programming high-precision automatic machines for SMT
- Setup and operation of stencil printer machine
- Ability to operate and program reflow oven
- Ability to operate AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) machine
- Ability to operate X-ray machine and interpret x-ray images for defects
- Inspection of PCB assemblies
- Plan and perform work requiring a knowledge of electronic/mechanical established assembly standards and quality processes.
- Integrate electronics assemblies per manufacturing drawings.
- Maintaining documentation in accordance with quality procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years' experience in electronics field
- Experienced in operating SMT line machinery such as Pick-and-Place, Stencil printer and Reflow oven
- Possess a strong educational background or commensurate industry experience in one (or more) of the following areas:
- PCB assembly (Operating/programming SMT machines such as Automatic Pick-and-Place, Stencil printer and Reflow oven)
- Experience in inspection of PCB assemblies
- Understand and follow work instructions
- Able to work well within a fast-paced team environment
- Must be self-motivated, free-thinking individual capable of technical discussion, complex problem solving and scrutinizing prior assumptions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable with MyData Pick-and-Place machine
- Current or recent IPC Certifications as IPC Specialist (CIS) or IPC Trainer (CIT) for IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001
- Experience within an ISO or AS9100 fabrication environment
