We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Project Coordinator/Scheduler to provide essential support to our program management teams. This role is central to the success of large-scale DoD/DoW, government or intelligence-related programs, requiring a strong foundation in project scheduling, resource coordination, and Earned Value Management (EVM) practices. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and organizational skills to develop and maintain detailed project timelines, manage project documentation, and ensure the efficient execution of program objectives.
Responsibilities
- Project Scheduling & Timeline Management
- Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules and timelines using MS Project and Jira.
- Ensure tasks, milestones, and resources are managed efficiently to meet all deadlines.
- Coordination & Work Management
- Support the planning and direction of personnel across task orders and integrated product teams.
- Coordinate project activities, manage work breakdown structures, and facilitate service order dispatching and work order activity.
- Monitoring, Risk & Reporting
- Collaborate with team members to monitor project progress, identify and communicate potential risks or delays, and prepare comprehensive cost, performance, and status reports for management.
- Documentation & Systems Support
- Review and manage all project documentation, ensuring materials meet required standards before stakeholder delivery.
- Track IT asset lifecycles and perform data reconciliation across systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Secret level security clearance (at minimum).
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline and a minimum of 6 years' directly related experience, supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity in large-scale DoD/DoW, government or intelligence-related programs.
- ~OR~ Associates degree and a minimum of 8 years' directly related experience, supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity in large-scale DoD/DoW, government or intelligence-related programs.
- Professional working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices.
- Technical Proficiency
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project, along with proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and Word.
- Organizational Skills
- Proven ability to coordinate complex program activities, including requirements, resources, and scheduling.
- Must possess strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for reporting and team collaboration.
- Work Ethic
- Must be a self-starter capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
