SAIC is currently seeking a Joint Simulation Operator to support the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) located on Ford Island in Oahu, Hawaii. The successful candidate provides subject matter expertise and operational support to joint warfare simulations, scenarios, database management, issue coordination and resolution, event test development, and event execution for exercises in the USINDOPACOM Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
NOTE: This position is Contingent Upon Funding.

The successful candidate provides subject matter expertise and operational support to joint warfare simulations, scenarios, database management, issue coordination and resolution, event test development, and event execution for exercises in the USINDOPACOM Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
NOTE: This position is Contingent Upon Funding.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinates across operational warfare planners and working groups to facilitate and document the requirements for the warfare simulation
- Translates operational needs/requirements to simulation tools/capabilities
- Supports simulation architecture design and planning, build, manage, and validate simulation database
- Coordinates scenario development including opposing forces information and products
- Builds products such as Test Plans, Training Plans, SOPs, scenario/OPFOR plans, and timelines and milestones for database development and validation
- May be required to support as a simulation entity controller, simulation controller, simulation operator, and/or simulation database manager within the Exercise Control Group (ECG) Operations during an exercise
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and fifteen (15)+ years or more experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience operating and developing architecture products associated with Joint exercise simulation systems and/or networks
- Experience building event plans and products associated with Joint exercise simulation systems and/or networks
- Experience identifying joint simulation requirements and providing insight and updates to leadership that drive solutions, timelines, and project/event success
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have a current Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Must be a current US Citizen
