Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to assist a company supporting the Department of Justice. This position is onsite in Washington, DC. The DevOps Engineer will assist in combating threats to national security and will provide support and services to ensure that the security is integrated.

Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer include:
  • Ensure that security programs are integrated within the software development life cycle
  • Design and implement software development and IT operations
  • Create streamlined and efficient development processes
  • Knowledge with operations and development, including coding, infrastructure management, system administration, and DevOps toolchain

Required Qualifications for the DevOps Engineer include:
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in DevSecOps engineering role
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, and software development methods
  • Must have a bachelor's degree, an advanced degree is preferred
  • Must possess government issued top secret clearance

Compensation for the DevOps Engineer includes:
  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)
  • Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Maternity Leave, Military Reserve Pay Offset
