Description:Come join Lockheed Martin's engineering team supporting the Space Development Agency's Tranche 3 Tracking Layer program. This critical initiative will provide missile warning, missile tracking, and missile defense capabilities. You will join an elite team to develop cutting edge technical capabilities for our customers utilizing groundbreaking model-based systems engineering (MBSE), web-based documentation and continuous integration continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines.
Lockheed Martin seeks a talented Requirements & Verification (R&V) engineer to join the team in Boulder, Colorado.
As R&V engineer, you will:
• Develop/analyze/verify system level requirements and document & manage accordingly
• Plan and coordinate the requirements verification and validation process
• Coordinate with customer and other contractors to execute verification analyses and tests
• Coordinate program resources, personnel, requirements, and deliverables
• Organize/coordinate system level technical reviews
• Ensure the systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Provide systems engineering support, to include but not limited to requirements tracking, risk management, architecture evaluation
• Work with senior engineers to understand the overall program and engineering execution
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical STEM degree
Engineering analytical and problem solving skills
Must be able to successfully meet deadlines and execute to a strict timeline
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Experience utilizing tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, 3DX, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools
Experience with system analysis, requirements decomposition, and/or requirements management
MBSE experience using CAMEO
Experience with Jira
Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel, JIRA and Access)
Past experience or coursework in systems engineering
Past Internship/Work Experience in a technically collaborative and team-based environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,200 - $106,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
