Description:Candidate will be responsible for QC functions at Marietta and deployed sites, including assisting/preparing quality control plans, Nonconformance Documentation Expansion, reviewing and approving technician work, communicating with local customer representatives, and gathering and reporting quality metrics. Will accomplish Inspection, Audit, Surveillance, and Monitoring to verify quality standards are met and aircraft are maintained in accordance with contract requirements. Quick Response team member to be based out of Marietta, GA. Must be able to obtain military base access, travel frequently, deploy on short notice CONUS and OCONUS temporary duty assignments. Passport/Visa Required, Candidate must maintain a current Passport to support overseas field team assignments.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum (7) years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Must have C130 aircraft platforms and systems experience at the Organizational Maintenance level
• Experience equivalent to FAA A&P/USAF 5 level/NAVAIR Quality Assurance Training & Readiness (T&R) Level 4000 experience is required
• Must be able to relocate temporarily to work locations as needed to support program efforts
• Must be able to plan and manage QA functions that support and enforce the aircraft maintenance tasks for a full O-level CLS effort, including preparation of Quality Control Plan and site-specific quality procedures. In this role, the selectee would be the primary contact for all QA matters, including defect investigation, resolution and preventative actions
• In-depth Knowledge of US Gov and industry policies, procedures, and standards such as FAR / DFAR/DCMAI 8210
• Ability to work toward long-range goals and objectives, independently able to determine and pursue actions necessary to obtain desired results. Must have excellent communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Skills:
• Proven experience with defining and implementing process architecture
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and partnering across organizational boundaries with the ability to engage with subject matter experts in a variety of different functional organizations
• Experience handling fast-paced complex environment, governed by compliance regulations and management of numerous contractual requirements
• Experience equivalent to USAF 7 level/NAVAIR Quality Assurance T&R Level 5000
• Experience with FAA Audits
• Experience with C-130 C-Checks/ O-level maintenance
• Working in maintenance environments that have DCMA oversight
• Familiarity with AS9110 standard, implementation and operating requirements
• Knowledgeable in the development, use and attributes of Ground Operating Maintenance systems
• Strong communications, interpersonal and customer relationship skills
• Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or equivalent, Inspection Authorization (IA)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
