Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mongolian Linguist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in linguistics and demonstrate proficiency in Mongolian and English, bonus if multi-lingual. This role involves translation, interpretation, transcription, and effective communication across various platforms. The Linguist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and culturally relevant language services for our government clientele.
Responsibilities
Translate written documents from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning and context.
Provide interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other events to facilitate clear communication.
Conduct transcription of audio recordings into written format, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Collaborate with team members to develop language resources and tools that enhance communication effectiveness.
Assist in linguistic research projects by analyzing language patterns and usage.
Maintain high standards of quality in all linguistic outputs, adhering to deadlines and project requirements.
Experience
Must be US Citizen and live within the US
Proficiency in multiple languages is essential; bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience in translation, interpretation, or transcription is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Excellent writing and typing skills with attention to detail.
Active Security clearance is a bonus!
