This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Help
- You will be responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, reviewing, monitoring, evaluating and updating all operations including training areas, Townsend Bombing Range (TBR) training facilities, training devices and special use airspace.
- You will collect, compile, and conduct special studies of statistical and other data to assess shortcomings, program progress, and to develop approaches and methods to improve operations and advise/assist commanders and senior staff officers.
- You will safely allocate and coordinate the use of facilities and training ranges to include air and airborne activities within the Restricted Airspace.
- You will provide senior level decision making and Branch priorities to guide subordinate staff.
- You will closely monitor employee safety training and ensure appropriate action is taken to alleviate any unsafe or unhealthy training.

- This position is considered Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.

- You are required to POSSESS and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- Must attend and pass Intermediate Level Range Safety course, Geographic Information System (GIS) for Range Managers, and Military Airspace Managers Course (or equivalent).
- Must attend and pass Administrative Laser Safety Officer Course, the Tactical Laser Safety Officer Course or the Laser System Safety Officer's Course either Category 1 or 2.
